W 2012 r.pod patronatem marszałka Senatu R.P. Bogdana Borusewicza przebiegać będą obchody Roku 70-lecia Armii Krajowej. Wynika to z faktu ogłoszenia w dniu 14 lutego 1942 roku rozkazu Naczelnego Wodza Sił Zbrojnych Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej o przekształceniu Związku Walki Zbrojnej w Armię Krajową http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armia_Krajowa W ten sposób powstała największa w Europie organizacja ruchu oporu przeciwko hitlerowskim najeźdźcom. Armia Krajowa i jej działania są bliskie wszystkim Polakom, a naszym obowiązkiem jest bezustannie o nich przypominać.

\"TWARDY\" był pseudonimem bojowym mojego Ś.p. Ojca por. mgr inż. Leona Geło zamordowanego przez hitlerowców 15 maja 1944 r. Miał wówczas 35 lat. Biorąc udział w Akcji Dyplomowej \"AK 70\" oddaję hołd pamięci mego Ojca - żolnierza Armii Krajowej.

The celebrations of the 70th Anniversary of the Armia Krajowa Year (Home Army, AK) will be conducted under the auspices of Mr. Bogdan Borusewicz, Speaker of the Polish Senate, throughout 2012. They are related to the announcement of the Order or the Supreme Commander of the Polish Armed Forces of the transformation of the Związek Walki Zbrojnej (Union for Armed Struggle) into the Home Army on 14 February 1942. Consequently, the largest European resistance organization against Nazi occupiers was established. The Home Army and its activities have been dear to all Poles, and it is our obligation to remember them. \"TWARDY\" (Hard) was the Nom de Guerre of my father, Lt. dipl. ing. Leon Gelo, murdered by the Nazis on 15 May 1944. He was 35 years old. By participation in the \"AK 70\" Award activities, I would like to pay homage to the memory of my father, a Home Army soldier.
QSL direct or eQSL preferred. In case of QSL direct, please add SAE and $1/€1 in EU, or $2/€2 outside EU. QSL\'s without SAE and return postage will be answered via the Bureau.
