Dear visitor ,

Thanks to visit my QRZ.com page. My Name is Wim and born in '66. Since years I'm interested in Radio Communications. But only in 2019 I started the basic course and graduated in July. Since aug 2020 I graduated in the "A" class operator (HAREC) and I received my new call ON8WI. My previous call was ON3WVT.

Next ambition level is to get MORSE. A lot of practice will be needed to make my first CW contact.

The HEX BEAM

The HEX- BEAM is build on a constructor hoist from 6 m. On the hoist we build a pole from 6m. So the HEX-BEAM can be set, up to 12m.

Location

My hometown Scherpenheuvel, is about 40Km (25miles) N.E. from the Capital Brussels. Locator = JO20LX

DIGI MODE

I discovered as wel the DIGI MODE FT8 and made some nice contacts.
