Работа станции посвящена 81-й годовщине Великой

Победы и памяти Героя Советского Союза, гвардии младшего лейтенанта Бориса Ивановича Гребенникова

(1924–1944), уроженца Оренбургской области.

Гвардии младший лейтенант Б.И. Гребенников командовал танком в составе 36-й гвардейской танковой бригады.

В начале марта 1944 года в боях за город Новый Буг он проявил исключительный героизм.

В неравной схватке с немецкими танками, потеряв в бою весь экипаж, Борис Гребенников направил свою машину в место скопления боевой техники врага и уничтожил колонну автомашин.

В этом бою герой погиб.Указом Президиума Верховного Совета СССР от 13 сентября 1944 года ему посмертно присвоено звание Героя Советского Союза.

Память о Герое увековечена: его именем названы улицы в городах Кувандык и Новый Буг, а также в селе Краснохолм; на родине и местах боев установлены мемориальные доски и памятники.

Special memorial radio station RP81GB

The station's work is dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Great Victoryand the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Guards Junior Lieutenant Boris Ivanovich Grebennikov (1924-1944),

a native of the Orenburg region. Guards Junior Lieutenant B.I. Grebennikov commanded a tank in the 36th Guards Tank Brigade. In early March 1944,

he displayed exceptional heroism in the battles for the city of Novy Bug. In an unequal battle with German tanks, after losing his entire crew in the battle,

Boris Grebennikov directed his vehicle towards a cluster of enemy military equipment and destroyed a column of vehicles. In this battle, the hero was killed.

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated September 13, 1944, he was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.

The memory of the hero has been immortalized: streets in the cities of Kuvandyk and Novy Bug, as well as in the village of Krasnokholm, have been named after him;

memorial plaques and monuments have been erected in his hometown and at the battle sites.
